window has arrived!

and we have positioned it!BUT the colour is wrong wrong wrong. I don't know how this happened - I probably used the wrong converter from the system I use normally to RAL. I hope we are in time to change the colour. I went into Kalamata and bought myself a chart of RAL colours in order not to get it wrong again. The colour that I had chosen is closest to RAL 1013. But please if you can check RAL 1015 (a little sweeter in colour) and the option of the colour used in the Kitries house that is RAL1020.

Unfortunaltelly the window was damaged during the shipping. This is repairable and Ilias can do it. In any case though if we change the colour we will need a few kg of the paint used - both to repair this but also to touch up possible problems in the installation procedure.

I talked with Annete who is this sculpturess and she produced this basic initial idea to work on.

the idea is the idea pf the driftwood that we discussed and then the prosthetic in a sculptural fashion as you can see in the photos below.

I find that the finish is great and that if this is worked as an idea it can be a spectaculara result. Obviously it is a work intensive item so the cost is basically the labour that it will take.
